Steam is the official single source for the US price snapshot: $19.99 list and $13.99 promotional on 28 October 2026. A March review records an older $16-era price; that historical quote does not independently corroborate the current price. Demo-save transfer is promised by Steam and separately described by players; Linux/Proton has a reported manual-transfer exception.

Steam lists the released game for Windows. No official browser download was identified on the store, demo page or developer site. Console product pages are announced/wishlist listings, with an early-2027 publisher target.

Demo dates and transferring progress

The demo store lists 24 May 2024. Official news also announces a new demo on 23 February 2026, alongside that day’s trailer; these are an initial listing and a later demo revision, not competing full-game release dates. The full game launched 6 March 2026 (Steam and IGN agree).

Steam’s full-game requirements say demo progress carries over. Players describe a shared Windows save location, while a Linux discussion reports that the separate Proton prefixes need a manual copy. Use /faq/ for the Windows folder and preserve both saves before changing files.

Patch 1.035 added gamepad support to both the game and demo. Minimum disk-space figures are specifications for available install space, not the size of the Steam download; see /platforms/system-requirements/.

Questions

Can I play AETHUS in the browser?

No official web build exists. Steam, the demo page, and pawsmonaut.games only offer a download.

Does the demo save transfer?

On Windows, yes, via Steam. On Linux with Proton, players report the save does not move automatically. The Windows path is in the FAQ.
