No. Remote Play is not co-op.

Is AETHUS multiplayer?

AETHUS is single-player. Steam does not list multiplayer or co-op. Remote Play lets someone else watch or stream your PC session. It does not add a second miner to the world. No Steam news post announces a co-op mode.

Steam lists single-player and Gameffine independently describes the released game as single-player. No co-op announcement was found in the reviewed Steam news. This establishes the present offering without predicting every future update.

What people mix up

Console pages are not out yet, so local split-screen is unconfirmed rather than promised. Searches about multiplayer "not working" on Switch or Xbox are early: those versions are still a 2027 window. The browser game people call WoW Aethus does have co-op. That is a different game, linked from the footer, not from this paragraph's buttons.
