There is no official AETHUS map and no public coordinate grid. The world is five layers: Surface, Outer Caverns, Lost World, Magma Rifts, and Omega. Seam X-5 is past Facility Tau, and two guides disagree on the exact heading.

Locations are community directions rather than surveyed coordinates. Direct HTTP requests for Steam guides returned 429; the reviewer then read the guides in a real browser on 2026-10-28; the earlier research record is retained and the conflicting wiki route is linked separately. A missing official map source does not mean the in-game scanner has no local map.

Layers and facilities

The layer names also show up as soundtrack titles: Outer Caverns, Lost World, Magma Rifts, and The Omega Gauntlet. Facilities named across the guide, the walkthrough, and the achievement list are below.

Seam X-5

Devistater's guide, with screenshots, says the entrance is due north of the Tau airlock. Power the relay first or the far side has no power for oxygen and cooling. A second walkthrough says northwest of Tau, to the right of the central lava lake and lava fall. Both are published. Start at the Tau airlock, look north for the relay, and if that ridge is empty, check the lava-lake side.

There is no official "Drill Site 4" number. People searching that phrase usually want the fourth drill along the first-layer route. The compass marks drills. Holding the scan key (default X) opens a local minimap that shows oxygen stations. That minimap note comes from one Reddit thread where two players agreed.

Omicron pin

Searches for "pin in omicon" are treated here as the Omicron Secure Records keypad. The only published digits are 3759, from one Reddit source. See the codes page before you treat that as confirmed.

Questions

Is there an official interactive map?

No. The Fandom AllMaps page is an empty template. The in-game scanner has a local minimap; the table here is a static location reference. The separate location index offers text filtering, with no coordinate pins.

How many storage drives are there?

Euchale's guide and the achievement text point to 13 data disks and 5 keycards. Drive chapters in one YouTube guide name Delta, Theta, Lambda, Mu, an underwater lab, and a dam.
