AETHUS ending explained

Stop here if you have not reached Facility Omega. Two achievements mark the end: Alpha to Omega, for entering Omega, and Time is a Flat Circle, for finishing. Buried Treasure calls it a climactic finish and says you can roll back to before the ending and keep running the base.

The finale milestones are in public Steam achievement data. Buried Treasure supports continuing from before the finale. The family and loop interpretation is available from one wiki only and is linked explicitly; a video title does not corroborate a plot twist.

Single-source reading

aethus.wiki says Roland is a machine form of Maeve's father, Caleb Vihaan, that the story is a 30-year loop, and that Maeve breaks it. The same pages spell the name Vihan, Vihaan, and Vhan, and once call the element Ethereum. Steam's achievement says Caleb Vihaan. The soundtrack says Aetherium. I am not promoting the wiki's plot into official canon. No source describes multiple endings. That field stays blank.

Questions

Can I keep playing after the credits?

Buried Treasure says you can return to before the ending and continue the base. That is one review, and it matches the achievement Time is a Flat Circle being a completion mark rather than a deleted save.

Is Roland Maeve's father?

Only one wiki says so, and that wiki misspells other proper names. It is not confirmed by Steam or the press kit.
